Fresh Source Capital Managing Partners Dan Pullman and Lisa Sebesta have over 45 years of combined investment, management and operational experience.  Our deep sector expertise and network within the sustainable food and agriculture community allows us to uniquely meet the capital and advisory needs of our portfolio companies.  We draw upon our collaborative partnerships with other funds in sourcing, performing due diligence on, and structuring transactions.

Katy Mamen - Consultant

Katy Mamen is an environmental consultant with many years of experience in food & agriculture, water, movement building, and systems change. She has worked with the nonprofit, public, and education sectors to build effective programs and strategy, develop collaborative policy, facilitate decision-making processes and provide expert analysis. Katy previously served as Director of Programs at Ag Innovations, Director of the Local Food Program at the International Society for Ecology and Culture, and launched the California Agricultural Water Stewardship Initiative. She was a Fellow of the Oakland Institute and co-author of Ripe for Change: Rethinking California’s Food Economy and numerous articles and public education tools promoting healthy food and agriculture systems. Katy holds a BS in Physical Geography from McGill University in Montreal, and an MS in Holistic Science from Schumacher College in the UK, a groundbreaking international program that focuses on understanding and working with complex systems.


Sarah Nolet - Consultant

Sarah Nolet is the founder of AgThentic.  She is a globally recognized food systems innovation expert. A systems thinker with an understanding of the complexities of the food system, Sarah brings a visionary yet pragmatic approach. She is committed to results. Sarah works across the global food system supply chain, helping farmers, agribusinesses, universities, investors and entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. 

Sarah holds a Masters in System Design and Management from MIT, a certificate in sustainability from the Sustainability Initiative at MIT Sloan, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University.
